How long do lip fillers injections effects last?
Lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid injections provides fuller lips for 6 to 15 months. Depending on the result of the first injection, another one may be recommended to preserve the results for as many months as possible. As a rule, larger volumes injected last longer.
Are lip fillers injections for thin lips painful?
Lip filling is painless. Dr. Adam uses very fine needles for optimal results, minimizing discomfort. Injections are done without anesthesia or anti-inflammatory drugs, which are not recommended because they can mask the early signs of complications.
However, a topical analgesic cream such as Enela can be used without inconvenience.
After the procedure, the lips may appear swollen for the first three days.
Any side effects?
Hyaluronic acid injections have very few side effects as long as it is performed by a professional. That said, Dr. Adam will consult with you to see if this treatment is right for you based on your medical history or other parameters.
